About the festival
International Arts Festival Interakcje is one of the oldest events dedicated to performing arts in Europe.
Our history dates back to 1998, when in the Restauracja Europa Ryszard Piegza said "Why not here?!" It was there that the idea for the festival was born, and the first edition took place in Piotrków Trybunalski in 1999. Our mission is to showcase performance, live art, manifestations, and other practices, including multidisciplinary ones.
The Festival's program is filled with live events, exhibitions, film screenings, and discussions with artists about the history, current state, and future prospects of this art form.
