Piotr Wysocki - a visual artist. He creates films and video installations, as well as organizes actions in public spaces and art workshops. His main field of activity includes complex projects on the borderline of art and documentary film, which serve the artist as a tool for understanding human problems and presenting them in the context of political, social and existential conditioning. He has participated in dozens of solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Winner of numerous awards, fellow of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. In 2009 nominated for the Polityka Passport (visual arts). Finalist of the Views 2011 Competition organized by the Deutsche Bank Foundation and Zachęta – National Gallery of Art in Warsaw. He lives and works in Warsaw.
