JOAKIM STAMPE born in 1959, lives and works in Gothenburg.
Joakim Stampe is a Swedish visual and performance artist working at the intersection of memory, mobility, geopolitics, ecology, and social structures. Through performance, installation, public art and participatory projects, he examines how borders, movement, landscapes and systems of power shape both personal and collective experiences. Since the early 2000s, he has presented more than 200 works in over 20 countries throughout Europe, Asia and North America.across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
