About the artist
Jan Robert Skarboń – born in 2002 in Tychy, a city to which he is deeply connected. Currently a 3rd-year student of Automatic Control and Robotics at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. He mainly focuses on performance art, which he actively explores. His works center on the themes of human emotions and the difficult and incomprehensible situations the author struggles with. In 2024, he won first place in the "AGH Mine of Talents" competition for his performance. He is the initiator and co-coordinator of the "Dimensions of Culture" series of free art workshops at AGH, which included events such as Performance, Tattoo, Comic, Graffiti, and Singing. He has presented his performances several times, including at the Tychy Performance Festival, the Circle of Time festival in Toruń, Pełnia Performance T.C.R., the Summer Film Academy festival, and the Cinema on the Border festival.
