Łukasz Głowacki

Born in 1964. Studied at the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts of the State Higher School of Visual Arts (PWSSP) in Gdańsk, in the studios of Prof. Kazimierz Ostrowski and Prof. Hugo Lasecki. Obtained his diploma in painting in 1990 in the studio of Prof. Hugo Lasecki. He is active in performance art, painting, and creates objects, installations, and video art. His objects are characterized by a minimalist style and audio-kinetic qualities, presenting the potential of performativity. Searching for a current form of expression, he poses questions regarding the status of a work of art, whose emanation is the propagated idea of the Art Point. He is a negotiator of the form of the image in its optional states of visuality, exposing the processes of change and the narrative of time within them. He uses a detached code of apparent  abstraction, which is a synthesis of energy and emotions expressed reactively in the context of the dynamics of change and the progressive crises of human civilization. He has participated in dozens of solo and group exhibitions, and actively participates in the performance art movement, appearing numerous times at performance art festivals. He was a co-curator of the 22nd INTERAKCJE International Art Festival in Piotrków Trybunalski. Awards

- In 2022, he received an honorable mention at the Wrocław Drawing Triennale 2022 - "Don't Look Back" for the film "Form of Imbalance"

- 1st Prize at the 5th Piotrków Art Biennale in Piotrków Trybunalski for the set of works "Form of Fall" and "Phrygian Cap" 2019

- Main Equal Prize of the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship for the painting "Board" 2008

- Prize of the Gdańsk Voivode for the most outstanding debut in 1991
