Paweł Korbus

Visual artist, actor, performer, video and installation creator, alumnus of artistic ed on Fine Arts Institute of Arts Faculty of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. He collaborated on theater and dance projects, including Earthfall Dance and with Atsushi Takenouchi, Kane Katsura, Gerald Tyler, and Paweł Passini. He shows his works in gallery spaces and creates site specific in public places.
Scholarship holder of the Visegrad Artist Residency Program 2016 with the „ID-Influence Diagram” project and The City of Lublin President Scholarship 2017 with project “Miejsca – nie miejsca”. Leader of peroformative and research projects such as: „Cross the Lands and Lens in the Eyes” 2015, “O Miłość” (2014-2017), Dom/Avatar/Translokacja (2013). In cooperation with Teatr Chorea and Fabryka Sztuki in Łódź he co-hosted an artistic educational program with disadvantaged groups „Uwaga Człowiek! Napięcia miasta „.
In 2012, he was a resident at AGÜSAD Antakya Contemporary Art Association in Turkey. His performance was presented at the Performance Platform Lublin festival, Performance Month Berlin 2014, Supermarket Independent Art Fair Stockholm, Bruno Schulz Festival Drohobycz – Ukraine, Bedesten Festival Antiochia, Turkey, Forgetting / Remembering Performance Art Meeting Istanbul. Conducts interdisciplinary educational activities – performance workshops, stuttering workshops, stage workshops and lighting and theater workshops. In educational work, he combines body and voice techniques, and visual arts techniques.

Artysta wizualny,aktor, performer, twórca wideo i instalacji, absolwent edukacji artystycznej w Instytucie Sztuk Pięknych Wydziału Artystycznego Uniwersytetu Marii Curie- Skłodowskiej w Lublinie. Współpracował przy projektach teatralnych i tanecznych m.in z Earthfall Dance, Atsushim Takenouchim, Kanem Katsurę Geraldem Tylerem, Pawłem Passinim. Swoje prace pokazuje w przestrzeniach galeryjnych oraz tworzy site specific w miejscach publicznych. Stypendysta Visegrad Artist Residency Program 2016 z projektem „ID-Influence Diagram”, stypendysta Prezydent Miasta Lublin – projekt Miejsca – nie miejsca” 2017. Lider projektów 'performatywno-badawczych takich jak: “Cross the Lands and Lens in the Eyes”2015 ”O Miłosci” (2014-2017r.), Dom/Awatar/Translokacja (2013 r.) Wraz z Teatrem Chorea i Fabryką Sztuki w Łodzi współprowadził artystyczno-edukacyjny program z grupami defaworyzowanymi „Uwaga Człowiek! Napięcia miasta”. W 2012 r. rezydent w AGÜSAD Antakya Contemporary Art Association w Turcji. Swoje performance prezentował m.in. na festiwalu Performance Platform Lublin, Performance Month Berlin 2014, Supermarket Independent Art Fair Stockholm, Bruno Schulz Festival Drohobycz – Ukraina, Bedesten Festival Antiochia, Turcja, Forgetting/Remembering Performance Art Meeting Istanbul. Prowadzi interdyscyplinarna działalność edukacyjna – warsztaty performance, warsztaty jąkania, scenograficzne, świetlne, teatralne. W pracy edukacyjnej łączy techniki pracy z ciałem, głosem oraz techniki sztuk wizualnych.
