Praktyka artystyczna i związana z nią refleksja teoretyczna dwóch dekad XXI wieku zasadniczo zmienia postrzeganie sztuki akcji, jej języka i perspektyw rozwoju. Intermedialność, interaktywność i dynamika granic kreują zjawiska trudne do jednoznacznego zdefiniowania.

Sztuka intermedialna zwraca szczególną uwagę na publiczność, jej aktywność i możliwość współuczestnictwa w interaktywnym procesie twórczym.

Jednym z założeń programowych XXIII edycji Festiwalu Interakcje jest intermedialny charakter oparty na poszukiwaniu przestrzeni granicznych różnych dyscyplin sztuki. Intermedialność w 2023 roku stawia pytania o sens a może konieczność użycia narzędzi cyfrowych zasadniczo zmieniających strategie obecności, zasięg oddziaływania i granice sztuki.

Sztuka w 2023 roku ma nowy, dramatyczny kontekst, jest nim realna wojna, groźba wojny ale też wojna jako proces wewnętrzny związany z osobistym udziałem w sporze o wartości.

Mówiąc o kontekstach dzieła sztuki i kontekstach procesów twórczych odwołujemy się do twórczości i refleksji teoretycznej Jana Świdzińskiego, wybitnego artysty, twórcy koncepcji sztuki kontekstualnej, związanego od początku z Festiwalem Interakcje. Założenia programowe festiwalu i przypadająca w 2023 roku setna rocznica urodzin, zobowiązują nas do szczególnego uhonorowania jego osoby i działalności poprzez panel dyskusyjny z udziałem badaczy jego twórczości i prezentację zapisów filmowych jego prac.

Zapraszamy do współtworzenia festiwalu artystów i teoretyków sztuki związanych ze stowarzyszeniem ARTPOLE z Kijowa. Funkcję drugiego kuratora powierzamy Myroslawie Ganyushkinie, kuratorce wielu międzynarodowych projektów m.in. Granica z 2017 roku.

 O FESTIWALU

Międzynarodowy Festiwal Sztuki „Interakcje” organizowany corocznie od 1999r., to jedna z najstarszych cyklicznych imprez w Polsce i na świecie prezentujących performance, sztuki performatywne, sztukę żywą, akcji, interwencje, manifestacje, praktyki artystyczne o charakterze interdyscyplinarnym, łączące w sobie doświadczenia z obszaru sztuk wizualnych, teatru, tańca, filmu i muzyki.

Program Festiwalu wypełniają działania realizowane na żywo, w przestrzeni galeryjnej i publicznej, a także wystawy, projekcje filmowe i pokazy dokumentacji, spotkania i dyskusje z artystami, krytykami i teoretykami dotyczące historii, stanu obecnego i perspektyw rozwoju tego obszaru sztuki.

Artistic practice and related theoretical reflection of the two decades of the 21st century fundamentally changed the perception of action art, its language, and development prospects. Intermediality, interactivity, and boundary dynamics create phenomena that are difficult to define clearly. Intermedia art pays special attention to the audience, its activity, and the possibility of co-participation in the interactive creative process. One of the program assumptions of the XXIII edition of the Interakcje Festival is intermediality based on the search for boundary spaces of different art disciplines. 


Intermediality in 2023 raises questions about the meaning or perhaps the necessity of using digital tools that fundamentally change the strategies of presence, the reach of influence, and the boundaries of art.

Art in 2023 has a new dramatic context, it is a real war, the threat of war but also war as an internal process related to personal participation in a dispute over values.

Speaking about the contexts of the work of art and the contexts of creative processes, we refer to the work and theoretical reflection of Jan Świdziński, an outstanding artist, creator of the concept of contextual art, associated with the Interakcje Festival from the very beginning. The program assumptions of the festival and the 100th anniversary of his birth, which is in 2023, oblige us to honor his person and activity in a special way through a panel discussion with the participation of researchers of his work and the presentation of film records of his works.

We invite artists and art theorists associated with the ARTPOLE association from Kiev to co-curate the festival. The function of the second curator is entrusted to Myroslava Ganyushkin, curator of many international projects, including 2017’s Border.

 ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The International Art Festival ‘Interakcje’ , organized annually since 1999, is one ofthe oldest cyclical events in Poland and all over the world presenting performance, performative arts, live art, actions, interventions, manifestations, artistic practices of interdisciplinary nature, combining experiences in the field of visual arts, theater, dance, film and music.The festival program includes live actions conducted both in the area of the gallery and within public space, as well as exhibitions, film screenings and documentary screenings, meetings and discussions with artists, critics and theorists about the history and the present state of this kind of art, and its prospects of development. Among the invited to participate in the festival are Polish and foreign artists of established position and reputation, as well as those young and not recognizable yet.This year, the festival’s theme is going to be the identity of the performer artist, the way they present themselves and their activities to the world of art and in everyday life.
