Terese Longva lives and works in Norway.
She studied in Alesund School of Art, in Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland and also in Kosta Glass School in Sweden for 3 years. In 2008 she became a BA of York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Her works within film and performance deal with different aspects of a human and his conditions, for example when and how we create different MEs as an answer to changeable cultural expectations and how we overcome simultaneous changes of our rules in the society. What is needed to solve or reconcile the dichotomy of faith that the reality is divided into MYSELF and THE REST, remembering at the same time that any of these phenomena is not clear in its form because they always contain the parts of their opposite.
