Marta Ostajewska

Artist, performer, doctor of fine arts (2018). A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent (Performance Art) and Polish Philology (Theory of Culture) at the University of Lodz. She participated in many international projects (including RIAP in Canada, artistic residence in Denmark "Human Hotel: Kopenhagen", IMAGINARIUS in Portugal, BIO50 in Ljubljana, PAB OPEN 2015, PAB OPEN 2017 in Bergen). Editor-in-chief of the artistic and scientific magazine "Powidoki" published by the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. Winner of the artistic scholarship of the Mayor of the City of Łódź (2014) and a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2014). He publishes and takes an active part in international site-specific conferences. She is interested in performance, the hidden world, the relationship of space, body and object. A follower of an object-oriented ontology, democracy of objects and spaces, liberating them from their utilitarian forms.
