Terese Longva

Lives, health works and creates in Norway.
She studied at the Norwegian Alesund, at the Alesund School of Art, at the Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland, and for three years at the Kosta Glass School in Sweden. In 2008, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.

Her works in the field of film and performance address various aspects of the subject of man and his states, such as how we create different selves in response to changing cultural expectations and how we struggle
while at the same time fitting in and breaking out of our roles in society.

What is needed to resolve or reconcile dichotomies such as the belief that reality is divided into I and Remnant, while perceiving the fact that none of the phenomena are pure in their essence, because they always contain parts of their opposites.
